The Ministry of Defence (MoD) on October 09, 2026, issued the Draft Danapur Cantonment Building Bye-Laws, 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•The Draft Danapur Cantonment Building Bye-Laws, 2026, aim to regulate building construction and development within the Danapur Cantonment area.
•They prescribe procedures for obtaining building permissions, along with requirements relating to building plans, structural safety, sanitation, ventilation, fire safety, and other construction standards.
•The proposed Bye-Laws govern the erection, re-erection, alteration and extension of buildings to ensure planned development and compliance with applicable building norms.
•They also establish requirements for submission and approval of building plans by the competent authority.
Any person interested in making any objections or suggestions may do so within 30 days from October 10, 2026.
